Antibiotics episodes
An antibiotics story and a scientist to the rescue!
In this cartoon a scout group of bacteria are gathered near a fireplace (Bunsen beak) and want to hear scary stories. The bacteria that is boring them is picked up by a scientist and the kids can finally have fun telling scary antibiotics stories!
Note: the bacteria and the loop are not at scale (this tends to happen in all the cartoons)! Also, when selecting a colony, one takes a lot more than one bacteria (maybe a few hundreds of them)!!
Inoculation?
Bob coli is trying to get his kids into culture rich media (Luria Bertani) but a policeman stops them and warns them of antibiotics supplementation (Kanamycin) in the media.
Note: regarding the suggestion about "Figueirinha"- it is a beach in Portugal that already had E. coli contamination some time ago (it was closed for humans for some time). Maybe it is a nice place for bacterial vacations.
